Mark Zuckerberg discussed the integration of generative AI into Meta’s products during the Q1 earnings call. The focus of their AI work is foundation models to enable new use cases. Visual creation tools for Facebook and Instagram ads and posts are being explored, as well as video and multimodal interactions in the future. Meta CTO Andrew Bosworth previously teased out generative AI-powered ad creation tools. The integration of generative AI will impact all apps and services. Zuckerberg is excited to release more of the company’s work over the next few months.
