The survey, conducted by Logica Research and based on a sample of 1,000 adults, found that younger respondents had similar attitudes towards wealth compared to boomers. However, they were significantly more deterred from creating financial plans due to the perceived time, effort, and financial commitment required. Among Gen Z and millennials, 29% cited lack of time as a barrier, in contrast to only 9% of boomers.
